This year, we have amazing magicians joining us in September. Our lecturers include Danny Archer, Tony Cabral, John Bannon, and Nathan Kranzo.
I’m also excited that Rui Yamagishi will be joining us from Kanazawa, Japan!
Back in February, I was traveling in Japan and stopped in Kanazawa. Almost every large city in Japan has a magic bar, so I searched and found Magic Bar Kanazawa Style. After a bit of searching on Facebook, I found Rui and let him know that I wanted to see him perform.
Rui was very friendly and welcomed me to his bar where he has been performing for the past 10 years. Needless to say, he proceeded to blow my mind for 6 hours. He performs many of the classics of magic including linking rings, cups and balls, and routines with cards and coins. His magic is elegant and beautiful.
I was also very impressed with his English. He explained that he learned it by reading magic books and watching magic DVDs.
After watching him perform, I knew that he would be the perfect fit for the Rocky Mountain Session.
Click the button below to watch his routine with 4 coins and a glass. I think you will be fooled.
