Tony Cabral will be joining us at the Rocky Mountain Session on September 6-8, 2019. If you’ve attended the Rocky Mountain Session, you’ve already seen Tony be an excellent host at our attendee show.
Tony has spent the past twenty years specializing in card cheating – for entertainment purposes ONLY. That’s his story, and he’s sticking to it.
Tony is a graduate of Brown University, where he stumbled across the H. Adrian Smith Collection of Conjuring and Magicana. There, his life-long love of magic turned to the dark side as he discovered the world of art, ruse, and subterfuge at the card table.
Since then, he’s devoted himself to mastering the shuffles, deals, cuts, palms, and other cheating techniques he uses to confound his regular audiences and magicians alike. His magicians-only DVD set, The Usual Suspect, was released in 2011. Since then he’s lectured for The Golden Gate Gathering, The Motor-City Close-Up Convention, Pebblepalooza, and various magician’s groups along the Northeast. He was also a regular reviewer and columnist for M-U-M Magazine for the Society of American Magicians for nearly a decade.
He entertains audiences with his sleight-of-hand shenanigans in and around Boston and has spent the past five years as the resident cardshark behind the bar at Legal Test Kitchen in Boston’s Seaport.
